Reminded again last night of the very real battle we're in as we preach the gospel.
The most unlikely person, a new friend, opened up about his very alarming experiences with demons (M@slim djinn). The sad end to his story (so far!) is that he was rescued by a Sufi spiritual master. In his mind, his experiences nullify any relevance or power the gospel may have for him. I find this one of the hardest things to tackle. Not just a different belief system to counter, but a very tangible experience that has proved to him the power and beauty of 'another gospel'.

Glad that we studied in TCH Sharrow 1 John 5:4:
For every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give the victory.
