With two families away, I expected us to be quite depleted last night. Low numbers discourages me. It shouldn't.
As it happens, we were nicely full with the following peoples represented: Spanish, Iraqi Kurdish, Iranian, Afghani, Kashmiri, Pakistani and of course British. Dave brought us to worship as he explained (well) God's name: Jehovah Tsdikenu- The LORD is our Righteousness. It prompted some hearty and extended praise singing.
Jabran (age 10) got it so well. He came up to me straight away at the end and exclaimed, " He's right... we haven't got any of our own righteousness". With so many M@slim background friends there, what a great evening. What better message?!
