one closes...another opens

Just 50 yards down the road where we meet for church there's a Sufi mosque. At least there was. It has just closed. Not a very common sight! Normally it's a declining 'church' that has to close.


However, just 100 yards round the corner is another mosque about to open. The biggest in South Yorkshire. It really is quite humungous. But I don't feel threatened. "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it".
He is in complete control.
But it does increase the urgency of the task of getting out the good news and being a light set on a hill.

Lord make us a more impresssive people than this fancy structure as you shape us living stones and build us together to become a dwelling in which you live by your Spirit.
