It's always great to get news from the Far East! Especially when it concerns our dear brothers and sisters and seekers who were with us here in TCH.
W&L seem to be making fantastic progress both in serving the Lord and in growth in godliness. All the many hours of reading Scripture and studying, discussion and praying and serving with them last year are bearing fruit. We praise God for his work in their lives. TCH Crookesmoor /OTH /S11 /Crookes... you can rejoice in the harvest that is being produced. Below is an email extract from dear Haruna who has recently visited them. Our prayer and intention was always (still is) to see God multiplying his church there in Shanghai, we half-jokingly referred to TCH Shanghai. Hey, why not!? GO W&L !! GO GOD!!

I was very encouraged by Ws Gospel priority in decision-making and serving for family. Even though there're many fellowships like factory church, lawyers' fellowship, VIP business men fellowship etc, W is eager to spend more time with his family! L hasn't started to work yet, but I think she needs more time for her baby.

I met X as he visited W&L's flat, X said "it's the hardest time for them because of their baby and their busy life."

I just phoned Z from Shanghai. He seems O.K, but he doesn't commit to church in Shengzen. I don't know how to support him, but just keep encouraging and praying.

On Sunday we had returnees' fellowship at W&L's flat. A couple working in Shanghai and M are leading Bible study in English. It's not church, but it's more like discipleship Bible study. On the day, R showed up and S (Chinese guys from Sheffield) joined! It's really encouraging!!

On weekends, W invited lots of brothers and sisters (lawyers and doctors) to their flat. I thought it's already like TCH Shanghai meeting with God's family!! I met several Christian laywers who are passionate for planting house church.
