Moments to die for...

I've just spent a couple of hours reading the bible with "A" from Kurdestan. As the sun streamed through our lounge window and we opened up Mark 1-4, I felt enormously privileged to be able to explain to him that the King has arrived and he must repent and believe.
He expressed real open-mouthed amazement, just like the original observers, as we read of King Jesus healing the sick, liberating those under Satan's control, cleansing the leper, forgiving the rebel and silencing a storm as if it were a yapping dog.
I must have taught those passages dozens of times, but was wowed again by the scary beauty of the King who leaves us with no option but to turn and trust.

Check out the material we use. Excellent.
