In praise of all those who set up schemes to serve the gospel and minister to the needy...

www.campolimpo.org.uk

Well done Rach for bringing Campo Limpo to our attention. I for one am excited by this little pre-school project. Compared with so many massive organisations, it may seem insignificant, but if we were to ask those 40 families in the favela 'is it worth doing?' I know what they'd say.
The pre-school is a great link for Ebeneezer baptist church and the local shanty communities. It's natural point of contact between the church and their families.
£5 a month will sponsor one child to attend the school. This covers the child’s daily mid-day meal, snacks, and school equipment for that month. It also contributes to the teachers’ salaries and other things.
Who of us reading this can't afford £5 a month?! It's that bottle of wine, that KFC, that book you just bought.
Why not get involved and in some small way be part of mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
